Want to stand out in interviews? It’s all in how you frame it.
Plus: The hiring slowdown haunting job seekers, a smart career tool from Google and a brand new AI model from Anthropic.
🧠 Want your ideas to land during interviews or networking? Frame them better.
Ever felt unheard in meetings or during interviews?
In her article, Yue Zhao shares a powerful insight: how you present your ideas matters just as much as the ideas themselves. Especially when you’re not the decision-maker, framing is your secret weapon.
🎯 Two quick tips from the article:
Speak to their goals, not yours. Remember interviews are about what you can do for the company. Instead of saying “I’m looking for growth,” say “I’m excited to help teams scale faster through X.”
Position your ideas as upgrades, not critiques. No one likes being told that their baby is ugly, don’t bash what exists instead highlight how your approach adds value.
💡 For job seekers: Companies want individuals who can solve their problems. By framing your answers thoughtfully, you can leave a lasting impression on the interviewer.
🔮 Google AI Career Dreamer

Google Career Dreamer
Google has launched Career Dreamer, it is a handy tool that can help you explore new possibilities. It analyzes your skills and experiences to suggest potential career paths you might not have considered. Who knows, it could provide you with much needed clarity during your job search journey.
At this point we all probably use ChatGPT and other AI tools as a therapist, life coach, coding assistant and more!
🧠 Claude 4 is here, is this the smartest model (yet?)

Anthropic just dropped its newest AI models, Claude 4 Opus and Sonnet and they’re turning heads. These models can reason over long steps, write solid code, and stick with complex tasks way better than before.
Why job seekers should care?
White collar work will never be the same anymore, these tools will not only be serious productivity boosters but might also become our co-workers (weird I know!) but think about it, they can help you code, write, brainstorm and even tackle long-form analysis like a tireless thinking partner.
It goes without saying that if you are a job seeker you need to get really comfortable leveraging AI tools.
